South Shore Regional Centre for Education
The South Shore Regional Centre for Education (°®¶¹´«Ã½) practices the Culturally Responsive Pedagogy approach in providing an inclusive, diverse, equitable, safe and healthy °®¶¹´«Ã½ that supports learning and success both personally and academically to the 59,000 residents of Lunenburg and Queens counties, an area of 5,250 square kilometres and a total of 23 schools.
°®¶¹´«Ã½â€™s mission is to provide our students with a learning environment that engages and inspires them to reach their full potential.
Regional and school-based staff manage our school system to provide °®¶¹´«Ã½ programs and services to all students, including transportation. The °®¶¹´«Ã½ employs regional staff, school administrators, teachers, administrative assistants, librarians, custodians, teaching assistants, computer technicians and school bus drivers.
